How we ranked the top Dardenne Prairie movers
Why you should trust us
We take reviews seriously to protect people just like you! Our team has been crunching data on moving companies since 2010. Our math-based ranking system uses data, manual review, and statistical analysis to help you hire the best movers in Dardenne Prairie, MO.
Rating Methodology
Here's the methodology we used to come up with the best movers in Dardenne Prairie:
Our original review-based ranking algorithm
We started with a total of 63 companies that offer moving services in the Dardenne Prairie area.
From these 63 companies, we analyzed a total of 22,943 reviews dating all the way back to December 2007.
We also reviewed a total of 2 state and federal moving licenses from these 63 companies and 241 different 3rd party review and social profiles.
Each of the ~22,000 reviews was scored according to our detailed 11-point rating criteria
This gave us a total of 43,030 data points to compute individual company scores.
Reviews are time-weighted so that more recent reviews carry more weight. This helps you understand how a mover is doing today... not 5 years ago. We have 2,545 Dardenne Prairie moving company data points from the past 2 years that carry more weight.
Bayesian averages calculated to fairly account for the differences between companies that are newer(like BEK Moving Co.) vs older more established companies (like A-Mrazek Moving Systems).

Frequently Asked Questions About Moving in Dardenne Prairie
How much should you tip movers in Dardenne Prairie, MO?
When hiring movers in Dardenne Prairie, you’re likely to find tipping guidelines of around 10–20% of your total moving cost or about $5 per mover per hour. This helps recognize their hard work, especially if they’re weaving through busy spots near Highway N or Missouri Route 364 on a hot day. Consider offering them a cold bottle of water or sweet tea to keep them energized and show your appreciation.
Is it cheaper to make a DIY move in Dardenne Prairie?
Choosing a DIY option in Dardenne Prairie might save money at first, but don’t overlook extra costs like truck rentals, gas, and packing supplies. Before driving along I-70 or Highway K on your own, check out nearby truck rental locations to make sure you have the right vehicle. Staying organized and aware of local traffic conditions can help you avoid surprises on moving day.
Should I hire labor-only movers?
If you’re looking to manage your own transportation while still getting professional muscle in Dardenne Prairie, booking labor-only movers can be an efficient choice. They’ll handle the loading and unloading while you rent the truck, which can be especially handy if you’re reorganizing a home near Dardenne Town Square or around the bustling neighborhoods off MO-364.
What if I need to move something special like a piano or pool table?
Some moves in Dardenne Prairie demand extra attention, especially for items like pianos, pool tables, or hot tubs. Hiring expert piano movers ensures your instrument stays in tune, while pool table movers can handle the tricky disassembly and reassembly of heavy equipment. Their local know-how can be a big help if you’re near Dardenne Prairie City Hall or navigating winding roads in St. Charles County.
