College Hunks was founded by high school best friends Omar Soliman and Nick Friedman in 2005 with a mission to eliminate stress for people dealing with moving or eliminating clutter. They now have 145 franchises across the United States and in Canada. The Portland branch offers local and long-distance residential and commercial moving, packing and packing supplies, and storage solutions. The company also provides residential and commercial junk removal, storm recovery, seasonal cleanups, donation pickups, and labor for furniture moving, staging, loading and unloading, and light demolition.

From these 324 companies, we analyzed a total of 53,895 reviews dating all the way back to November 2006.
We also reviewed a total of 69 state and federal moving licenses from these 324 companies and 974 different 3rd party review and social profiles.
Each of the ~53,000 reviews was scored according to our detailed 11-point rating criteria
This gave us a total of 139,186 data points to compute individual company scores.
Reviews are time-weighted so that more recent reviews carry more weight. This helps you understand how a mover is doing today... not 5 years ago. We have 13,378 Portland moving company data points from the past 2 years that carry more weight.
Bayesian averages calculated to fairly account for the differences between companies that are newer.
